New managing director at Farmer Automatic

Farmer Automatic, the medium-sized production facility based in Laer, has had a new managing director since the end of last year. Christian Dyckerhoff is now heading up the operations of this company supplying farming solutions specially designed for poultry.

Dyckerhoff, 43, is in charge of the company’s global operations. The native of Düsseldorf has acquired a wealth of experience over the course of his career. After having held positions with IBM Germany and Mars Electronics International, Dyckerhoff assumed the management of Epson’s corporate account and specialist retail sales divisions in Germany. At the end of 2008, he made the transition to AS-Motor GmbH in Bühlertann (Germany) as head of sales and marketing. His main responsibilities there included the restructuring and modernization of these business areas, at national and international level. He also directed the setup and expansion of the sales company in France and a marketing organization in the UK.

“I’m very happy about my new responsibility with Farmer Automatic,” says Dyckerhoff. “Farmer Automatic is one of the world’s leading manufacturers. I was especially won over by the company’s ambition of producing top-quality products almost entirely in Germany, and I’m particularly delighted at the task of leading the company toward a successful future.”

Christian Dyckerhoff is a graduate economist (Ruhr-Universität Bochum), is married and has a son.
